These are the rules: NO vulgarities, obscenities, or curse words including H*** or D***] keep it clean. This is purely for fun. So if you're down…Come follow me.
And decided to slow it down this one time
The summer is rolling in
And so much is changing
The older ages keep on approaching
And there is less time remaining
Every day you can consider the good and the bad
You weigh the value of the outcomes that you've had
Dandelions are a nuisance but they are beautiful too
Sparking the imagination and the fun things you used to
Do with them. Watching as they float on the breeze
The small whimsical little things
Imagining that they were fairies
And the joy that would bring
Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust
But in the moments that are remaining this Bud is for us
So go and grab you a drink of whatever is good to you
Shout it out to life and Toast it to the Blue.
Keep it cool yall.

Before I begin
Let me let you all in
On the M2thaJ
And what he used to be like
You know back in the day
Since the age of three
I was sure about me
Didn't like the fights
That were all around me
You grow up thinking
things are going to change
But the more you kept on looking
the more they stayed the same
When I turned six is when it really started
Brother coming in drunk
My mother broken hearted
Trying bring the ruckus
Talking bout he gonna kill us
That can be hard to understand
For someone younger than a man
That was not the end for years
This thing would roll on
The fights, the knives the guns
All I kept on thinking
Is I just have to hold on.
Mom wouldn't make him go
Like a bad abusive marriage
But there's no way I would stay
And let my future perish
I worry all the time
even though he's now moved out
Cause he still comes around
To holler scream and shout
You always love your fam
But sometimes you have to let them go
If you want to live
Remember I've told you so.
Break your chain. No matter what it is. The only cage is you. Fear is just a key to keep you locked up. If you hate your very life then you can escape it. Death and suicide is not the answer. Conquer, overcome, reclaim what's already yours. Freedom and self worth.

Voice of a movement:
I remember the smooth sounds of hip hop
vibrating streets and windows as the bass dropped
slow rolling cars with windows rolled down
dressed like Run DMC and not like a clown
How fly it was to break dance on all the blocks
Dance battles no bloodshed on a cardboard box
movies that made us laugh and say
how they get him up on that ceiling
which made it cool. What a great feeling
but with all of that came the voice of recogniton
the need for conscious thought to point us to a mission
"I'm Proud to be black ya'll and it's a fact ya'll! And i will never never ever take it back ya'll"
"You gotta fight for your right....to Partayyyy!"
What ever made you stand up and say
i have more value i have more worth
than to sit here blowing trees
saying that it came up from the earth
iT WAS THE VOICE THAT CALLED US HIGHER
THE VOICE THAT LIT A FIRE
"bURN HOLLYWOOD bURN" WAS A FAVORITE ANTHEM
I started to understand that on the other side of the tracks
it was us against them
But if i was going to be awake if i was going to be alive
then i had to step back
then it was up to me and i had to decide
was i going to be a follower and do what others said
or listen to heated magma truth that was boiling in my head
within us is a cause scratching to get out
but trying to hold it back is not what it's about
Reaching our potential. Leading our own private revolutions
in those separate journeys will come some sound reconstitutions
of Conscience.

Brother Marius spoke of “private revolutions” – how profound!
Well here’s what I’ve got to lay down!
I’m leading a peace revolt.
All you reading take note.
I’m not talking world movement kind-
I’m talking individual peace of mind.
Exploring deeper consciousness with a goal of stronger self,
Seeking higher purposes, long life, and great wealth.
Not talking wealth as in dollars y’all (though don’t we all want that)
I’m talking wealth as in spiritual truth and meaning – that’s where it’s at.
And while I’m at it – gotta look at the health situation.
Purify and strengthen the body- give some doctors a vacation.
The revolution begins within
Take stock of what is and ain’t and then begin
To focus on long-term healing-physical, spiritual, mental-body, soul, and mind
Then see just what kind of peace you will find.
Spring is here – time for cleansing, renewal, and healing
Let’s all have our own “private revolution” ritual of spring cleaning.
Out with negativity, jealousy and envy, anger, and those things that hurt and destroy
In with beauty, art, music, love, peace, and joy.
The peace revolt – starting here-now-today.
I stand positioned to lead it – with myself – and take it all the way.
Won’t you join me?
Kimeya coming in from a brief hiatus – have a blessed weekend!
More on Personal Revolutions – Wars of the Mind
Conspiracy theorist? Yeah that’s me!
Not ashamed to admit it, no-
I just need to speak about what I see
Agree or disagree – up to you, yo!
All this talk about the economy going south
Yeah, some of it might be true, but not for those at the top
Businesses closing, going bankrupt, laying folks off
Who hurts the most? Not “the man†– no, not the big bosses-not so much!
Here’s what I believe
And you can take this however you please
I think its all a ploy
To get us back down on our knees
Begging and pleading for scraps again
No more nice homes or fancy cars
They want you to feel like you have to take what you can get
Lest you all think you can live like stars
The reaper has come to tear your American dream to shreds
How dare you think that applied to you!
You got too uppity – got the big head!
Got to knock you down a peg or two.
It’s another kind of terrorism game they’re playing
But this time the evil ones are attacking us where we live
Be afraid they say – be very afraid
‘Cause we ain’t got no more money to give.
Company money is tight-got to let some of y’all go
Not making the money we did last year
It’s only a little bit less than before, but we expected more.
So sorry dear!
The truth is - there's money there
Do you really think these businesses would have so much lack?
They are just trying to find ways to get cheaper labor-they don't care
Trying to replace the longer tenured, higher salaried workers and push everyone else back.
So, what's a revolutionist to do, in a situation like this?
First off - be aware
No need to get angry and point your fist
No need either to be too scared.
Prepare yourself for anything that happens
Get more knowledge and up your skills
Think about things that can be done other than what you're doing now
Entrepreneurship might not be so bad a deal.
Lets support each other more in our side hustles and personal ventures
Buy somebody's painting, let them sell and bake you a pie
Let's wage the war on the "so-called" economy a different way
By hooking each other up - then my oh my.
We can make this big y'all - trade services -I for you, you for me
I'll wash your back and you wash mine
If I have something to offer, I'll give it to you for free
If you can give me something back in kind.
If not, we can work out an agreement to purchase or trade
One way or another, we'll be taken care of and have it made in the shade.
Let's get it started, y'all!
Kimeya comin’ out early to begin a four day weekend on a hot note! God Bless!

1st amendment: No rights to it
Speak Out Speak out
Go ahead and open your mouth
Shout out shout out
Please tell the world what you're talking about
But don't you start blastin
Flambéin and lambastin…anyone in your area
Hiding behind the wall of 1st amendment hysteria
"Don't you try to censor me and the things that I say"
"because I like being irresponsible and want to keep it that way"
yet you look at the world and think oh what a shame
want someone else to do somethin and won't take none of the blame
it's amazing in my eyes how such amazing things get twisted
because one person found a loophole everyone else miss it
the point...you see the rights we received that define you and me
does not mean we submit ourselves to a low-grade society
censorship yes can be a bad thing
but if it's not oppressive why would that be daunting
let's emotionally bully everyone until they let us have our way
tear down the walls of order let chaos and death rule the day
1st amendment let's us speak out against our government
to protect us in the face of tyrannical civil punishment
if you felt there was a need to go challenge the establishment
what a great country we live in; though we know it has its problems
but our goal is how, as a united group, we can work to solved them
if feeding curse words and hate to kids is your solution
sitting on your apathetic self righteous soap box searching for absolution
is a path and a cause that's worth fighting for
then what will you do when all the strength, character, and all your rights go out the door
why should you stop a child from his right to bear arms
so he takes it into school. yo what is the harm...in that
if I form a group into a local militia
right in the middle of your neighborhood
who cares if it doesn't fit into your social picture
intimidating yes that's why there is restraint
words are just another subversive weapon
when the wielders want to paint
pictures with weak metaphors
using words that underscore
the need for moral culture and conscious entities
Then and only then can fully enjoy our civil liberties.
M2thaJ- Enjoy your Memorial- Think about a veteran WW2 ya'll-love and thoughts
It’s Monday morning –trying to fight the first of the week blues-
Feeling worn out from last week from my head down to my shoes.
No rest for the weary – gotta keep on keeping on to pay my dues.
Can’t stop thinking for a minute – otherwise I’ll lose!
The weather is getting hotter in the ATL-it’s all over the news.
But the rain comes in here and there to as if to diffuse
Any outdoor plans you are trying to make
So, either you get soggy or you bake
Try to stay indoors where its cooler but that doesn’t make
For the best of summer fun days-some days its hard to take.
Looking forward to a vacation, but downside, gotta come back
And usually there’s piles of work waiting - yeah, that’s whack.
Work so hard trying to catch up that almost have a heart attack
And can’t do much else at the end of the day but hit the old sack.
What’s a girl to do in this work, work, and work some more world?
Can’t retire yet, not since all the economy drama unfurled.
401k money not what it used to be – set my plans in a whirl
Will I be able to stop working at 70? Or will working as Walmart’s greeter be in store then for this girl?
I guess for now I’ll have to focus on the little things that make the days seem brighter-
A complement from a co-worker, a good joke, they make the burden a little lighter.
A project finished and off my desk, a good poem or two from a fellow writer
A back rub, a kiss or two from the s.o., and a request to be held tighter.
It’s the little things
That give the heart and soul wings
Make us feel like we can sing
When everything else life brings
Makes us tired and wears us out
Little things give us something to smile about
Uplift us sometimes even to a shout
Look for the good little things – to help bring the good feelings out.
Remember what life is all about.
Kimeya trying to get re-energized. Have a great week!
It is a sad, sad day for us
We’ve lost one of our best
Say what you want about him –love him or not
He was individual, creative, the finest
Entertainer there ever was
Or ever will be
No one can touch him
At least not for me.
I still remember my very first concert
I bought the tickets with my own hard earned money.
The Jacksons Triumph or was it Victory Tour
It was 1982 – and what was funny
Looking back how I could actually afford on my $3.16 an hour salary
To buy not only my ticket but my sister’s ticket too and these were floor seats!
I was merely six rows away from the majesty,
The awe and the splendor
Of those beautiful men
Moving with the music so beautifully
Again and again.
I lost my mind and stood in my chair
And mimicked Michael’s every move.
I swear to you he saw me standing there
And smiled as he saw me try to prove
That I could be just as “Bad” as he was
Of course, I was no where close
But that smile I’m sure was just for me was all I needed
To get caught up and wrapped up in his music
So even when the world depleted
Him of all that he had left,
Sucked him dry to the bone,
I was pleading as he was
Please – just leave him alone.
I’ll admit – like everyone else
I lost feeling for him time and again.
But then I’d hear one of his songs, see a video
And I’d remember when
We shared a moment – something special-
Maybe it was just all in my head, but to me it was real as can be
Rest in peace, Dear Michael
From the folks who love you so dearly – and me.
Kimeya, praying for the Jackson family and everyone who loves Michael and the Jacksons.
from my heart they drain
sweet as a kiss they carress my face
Iconistic individuals now gone without a trace
It's easy to be confused
for a person's name to be abused
it's easy to reprimand the outcry felt by many
if you don't take the time to feel the pain of any
To all those who know and have seen it all
sing it from your heart because
i don't know what it is
but it's gonna come down
i don't know what it is
but i want to hear the sound
cause the rain must fall
and your part you sold
as the golden angel
hook line and sinker
many men were stung by your aphrodite stinger
or an arrow from her son cupid
the mere presence of your smile could make men feel stupid
you were gorgeous, lovely and full of life
your impact was greater than what i have said
Cause every can remember and cheered at "The Burning Bed"
even more you did till the end you served
here's hoping God gives you the send off you deserve.because
i don't know what it is
but it's gonna come down
i don't know what it is
but i want to hear the sound
cause the rain must fall
I have followed your career till now from then
When i first heard off the wall
I knew you were going to explode
And no matter how big you got
still you strode
to give more and more
whenever you could
understand the loss of your own childhood
you surrounded yourself
with all of the child loved things
Neverland aside he astounded
us every time he sings
You were the shot that was heard around the world
And became the inspiration for millions of boys and girls
More could be said but
I can't get my head around it all,
because for all of us at some time...
i don't know what it is
but it's gonna come down
i don't know what it is
but i want to hear the sound
cause the rain must fall
RIP to those deaths that were famous but even more to the ones that are not everyone matters to someone, and some matter to almost everyone, but all matter.
